Samsung ice maker kept freezing up. We were having to defrost it with hot water. It would work for a few days, then nothing. Called Summer Fridge after looking at Yelp reviews. So happy we called! Omar came out the next day, assessed the situation, and told us the problem. He ordered the parts, and installed in less that a week. Ice maker working great! Highly recommend.

My Subzero freezer (from 1997) started leaking profusely from the broken ice cube maker on a Sunday afternoon. I opened a case with the repair team I'd worked with previously, but when I called them Monday the earliest they could come was Thursday. Which was not going to work, as it was leaking about 2 gallons every 2 hours! I checked out Yelp and found Summer Fridge. The reviews were all great! Omar works in my area and on my type of refrigerator. I was so surprised when he said he could accommodate me as it was a bit of an emergency. He arrived within his time slot, he texted me when he was 10 minutes out. He diagnosed the issue, took apart my fridge, shut off the main water and picked up the parts he needed and fixed it. He's very organized and professional, and knows what he's doing. I am so appreciative, and recommend Summer Fridge!

Omar did a great job of diagnosing the problem with our fridge / freezer. We were beginning to look at buying a new one but now that won't be necessary. Another repair person had come to look and work on the fridge but the repair wasn't successful. Omar came in and figured out the problem - ordered the parts and installed them. Great service, fair price ...... he went out of the way to get the new parts installed just before we went away on vacation. so glad we found Summer Fridge!

Our 27 year old Whirlpool fridge began making a clicking noise on Sunday evening and within 12-hours everything had melted in the fridge. We called Omar at 8am Monday and he told us that it was probably the compressor switch rather than the compressor and cost would be about $300. He visited that day and the issue was fixed by 2pm- it was the compressor switch and cost was $295. He let us know the compressor is still working fine and the fridge is in good condition. Omar is extremely professional, polite and prompt with his responses. He was able to diagnose our problem despite our unit being 30 years old- we ultimately decided to invest in a new unit but I would highly recommend Summer Fridge to anybody.
